Werdler.com is the website created as a portal for a number of websites hosted on subdomains and subdirectory's of werdler.com.

The name 'Werdler' is the (dutch) family name of 5 people, the Werdler family; Ton Werdler, Fennie Werdler, Koen Werdler, Femke Werdler and Matthijs Werdler.

About 5 years ago the domain werdler.com was registered because Werdler is such a rare family name and Ton Werdler felt it was a good idea to claim the domain name on advance.
For all those 5 years the domain was used to redirect to different websites, which were 'under construction' for most of the time.

Just a few weeks ago we decided to install an own home server to serve werdler.com website instead redirecting to lesser alternative internet places.
A few websites got hosted on werdler.com but in subdirectory's; there was still nothing in the root. I decided to change that and thus this website was born.
